Features

  • Live Transcription and Intelligent Note Generation

At the core of the ScriBee platform lies a sophisticated live transcription engine, a feature that directly addresses the most significant pain point for clinicians: the tedious burden of documentation. As you engage in a clinical encounter, ScriBee’s advanced AI technology listens, processes, and converts spoken language into text in real time. This isn’t just a simple transcription; it's a dynamic documentation tool designed for the fast-paced medical environment. By freeing your hands from a keyboard, ScriBee allows you to focus your full attention on the patient, making eye contact and fostering a more empathetic connection. Our system is robust enough to handle the complexities of a clinical conversation, including multiple speakers, specialized medical terminology, and varying accents, ensuring that the initial text capture is highly accurate from the start. This foundational feature works seamlessly for both in-person consultations and virtual telehealth appointments, providing a consistent and reliable solution regardless of your practice setting.

  • Structured Notes with Industry-Specific Templates

ScriBee goes far beyond raw transcription by transforming a verbal encounter into a structured, EMR-ready note. We understand that a raw block of text is of little value, which is why our platform is built around a library of industry-specific templates. These templates are meticulously designed to meet the unique requirements of various medical fields, from family medicine to orthopedics and psychiatry. By leveraging these predefined structures, ScriBee automatically organizes the transcribed conversation into relevant sections like Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP). This intelligent note generation feature ensures that the final document is not only accurate but also formatted in a clear, consistent, and standardized way that saves you significant editing time. This powerful automation is the key to achieving the best possible results for your specific practice, streamlining your workflow, and ensuring every note is comprehensive and compliant with industry standards.

  • Smart-Fill Technology for Auto Form-Filling

One of the most powerful features of ScriBee is our Smart-Fill technology, which is engineered to automate the most time-consuming aspects of administrative work. Our AI platform is designed to recognize and extract critical data points from your clinical notes, such as diagnoses, procedures, and patient demographics. It then uses this information to automatically populate forms, referral letters, and billing documentation. This includes the intelligent insertion of billing codes like ICD-10/ICD-9, a feature that drastically reduces the time spent on manual data entry and minimizes the risk of human error. This level of automation ensures that your administrative tasks are not just easier, but also more accurate. By taking over the tedious task of form-filling, ScriBee allows you to complete your documentation with unprecedented speed and efficiency, freeing you up to concentrate on providing high-quality care.

  • Secure Dictation and Voice Commands

Recognizing that many clinicians prefer a traditional dictation workflow, ScriBee offers a state-of-the-art secure dictation feature. This functionality allows you to dictate notes directly into the platform with exceptional speed and accuracy. Our technology is fine-tuned to understand medical terminology and provides a more intuitive and reliable experience than standard dictation software. The core difference with ScriBee, however, is the unwavering focus on security and data privacy. All dictated audio is fully encrypted and stored temporarily for processing, and it is permanently removed from our system within a specific time frame based on your subscription package. Additionally, our platform recognizes advanced voice commands, enabling you to format text, add headers, or begin a new paragraph without lifting a finger. This robust dictation tool provides you with the flexibility to choose a workflow that suits your personal style while benefiting from the speed and security of a modern AI platform.

  • Seamless EMR and Workflow Integration

A core principle of ScriBee’s design is that it must integrate effortlessly into your existing practice workflow. We understand that a new tool should enhance, not disrupt, your process. That’s why our platform is built for seamless integration with all major EMR systems, including industry leaders like Accuro, Epic, and Telus Health. Through simple, one-click workflows, ScriBee ensures that your auto-generated notes can be reviewed and transferred directly into your EMR in an instant. For practices using web-based systems, our lightweight Chrome extension provides the same powerful functionality, making ScriBee compatible with virtually any setup. This commitment to interoperability means you can be up and running with ScriBee in minutes, confident that our technology will work in harmony with the tools you already rely on to manage your patients and practice.

  • Unwavering Security and Data Privacy

In the sensitive world of healthcare, security and trust are not just features—they are the foundation of our entire platform. ScriBee is built from the ground up to protect your data with end-to-end encryption. Our platform is fully compliant with all major privacy regulations, including HIPAA in the U.S. and PIPEDA along with all provincial statutes in Canada. We operate with a strict privacy policy that dictates where data is stored—in regional Canadian or U.S. cloud datacentres—and for how long, with all audio files being permanently deleted within a subscription-dependent timeframe of 30-90 days. Furthermore, we provide complete peace of mind by guaranteeing that ScriBee never trains its AI models on your confidential patient data. This proactive, security-first approach is verified by our SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and is transparently detailed in our Trust Center, giving you the confidence that your practice and your patients are always protected.
